1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the ALTIMIT mobile app, website, and related services. ALTIMIT is a social platform for profiles, photos called Shots, short-form videos called Flips, Stories, LIVE rooms, messaging, creator tools, and business collaborations.
2. Information you provide
We may process account details such as your email address, username, password credentials handled by our authentication provider, date of birth, profile details, and account preferences. We process photos, videos, audio, LIVE broadcasts, captions, comments, reactions, messages, reports, and other content you choose to create or share.
If you apply for verification, creator, business, payout, or collaboration features, we may process application details, professional information, tax or payout status, and identity-verification information you submit. Payment and identity providers may collect information directly under their own policies.
3. Information generated through use
We may process device and app information, notification tokens, approximate network information, crash and reliability data, login and security events, feature activity, content performance, viewing and engagement activity, and records needed to operate safety, moderation, creator, and business tools.
4. How we use information
- Operate accounts, profiles, feeds, uploads, messaging, LIVE rooms, and requested features.
- Personalize discovery and recommend relevant content and people.
- Deliver notifications and maintain sessions across devices.
- Measure performance, improve reliability, and develop the service.
- Detect spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and policy violations.
- Review reports, enforce Community Guidelines, and respond to support requests.
- Operate creator, verification, collaboration, advertising, and payout features when enabled.
- Meet legal obligations and protect users, ALTIMIT, and the public.
5. When information is shared
Your public profile and content may be visible to other people according to your audience settings. We may share information with service providers that help operate ALTIMIT, including hosting, database, media processing, LIVE video, notifications, analytics, email, identity verification, and payment services. Providers may include Supabase, Expo, LiveKit, Mux, and Stripe when their related features are active.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect safety and rights, in connection with a business reorganization, or with your direction. ALTIMIT does not sell your personal information for money.
6. Messages and public content
Content you publish publicly can be viewed, shared, or recorded by others. Direct and group messages are limited to intended participants through the service's access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sending highly sensitive information through social messages.
7. Retention
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, safety and fraud needs, backups, disputes, and legal obligations. Deleted content may remain temporarily in backups or where retention is legally required.
8. Your choices and controls
You can update profile information, manage audience and notification choices, block users, report content, and delete individual posts from the app. You can permanently delete your ALTIMIT account through Profile → Menu → Account & Safety → Delete Account. You may also contact support for privacy or account assistance.
9. Children
ALTIMIT is not intended for children under 13. People must provide an accurate date of birth. We may apply age-aware restrictions and may remove an account when we learn that it does not meet the minimum age requirement.
10. Security and international processing
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
11. Changes and contact
